StuffBuff is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. Here is exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

What we collect

• The content you submit — memories, comments, and any photos you upload
• Your display name and country, if you choose to provide them
• A one-way hashed version of your email address — we cannot reverse this to recover your email
• A one-way hashed version of your IP address, used only for spam prevention

What we do with it

• Your name and country appear publicly alongside your memory or comment, if provided
• Your email (hashed) is used to send you a one-time edit link when you submit, and optional reply notifications
• Your IP hash is used only to prevent spam and abuse — it is never associated with your public content

What we never do

• Sell your data to anyone, ever
• Show your email address publicly
• Use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
• Share your information with third parties
• Send you unsolicited marketing emails

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in to the preview (if active) and the admin panel. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Photos

Photos you upload are stored on our server and displayed publicly as part of your memory. If you delete your memory using your edit link, your photos are removed from display. If you need a photo permanently deleted from our servers, contact us.

Editing and deleting your content

When you submit a memory or comment with an email address, we send you a personal edit link. Use it at any time to update or permanently delete your content. No account needed.

Data retention

Content you delete via your edit link is immediately removed from public view and marked as deleted in our database. We do not retain deleted content indefinitely.
